Despite the fact that his species has an average lifespan of twenty-six
hundred years, Shigeru is incredibly impatient. He is tired of waiting
around for the Malgorak to achieve its primary goal, and thus has taken it
upon himself to secretly expedite things by using his vast knowledge of
engineering and robotics. The first task he plans on accomplishing is the
systematic destruction of the Benestak.

Shigeru is also constantly bitter and cynical. Having probed the
darkest regions of the Pokémorph psyche for well over a century, he believes
that unless the Pokémorph world can completely rise above the primitive
animal instincts that still exist within it, the downfall of society is
nigh. As a result of his perpetual bad mood, Shigeru has allies, but no
friends.
